Overweight and Obesity

Overweight and Obesity are defined as abnormal or accumulation of excess fat in the body which has been linked to increased risk for metabolic disorders, including non-alcoholic fatty liver diseases, heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes and certain cancers and obesity is generally caused by eating too much food and moving too little. If you consume high amounts of food, particularly sugars and fat, but do not do any exercise and physical activity, much of the surplus energy will be stored by the body as fat.
